Niall brings over 25 years of experience leading the planning, design, construction, and commissioning of biopharmaceutical and life science projects, with emphasis on cGMP facilities and process development scale-up labs.

Proficient and certified in both PMI and PRINCE2 project management methodologies, Niall has a proven record of delivering technical projects on schedule, within budget, and with a high degree of safety and quality. Drawing on experience working for architects, engineers, constructors, and biotech firms, Niall is able to lead cross-functional teams that collaborate and deliver business results.

Prior to establishing Johnson Project Consulting, LLC as an independent firm, Niall held senior engineering project management positions with well-known companies such as Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Transkaryotic Therapies (TKT), Shire HGT, Genetics Institute, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, and Jacobs Engineering Group. 

From 1998 to 2006, Niall served in a leadership role in the Boston area chapter of ISPE. At University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Niall created his own major in Energy Development, a Bachelors Degree in Individual Concentration (BDIC) combining Economics and Engineering. Niall continued his education with graduate level coursework in BioProcess and HVAC Engineering.

In Niall's spare time, he is an avid mountain biker, kayaker, hiker, overlander, and retired rally racer.
